With more than 15 years of experience in the industry, Evan, the founder of Cactus Electrical, has been actively engaged in a wide range of electrical projects, spanning industrial and residential sectors. His early passion for electrical work led him to pursue BCIT's Electrical program, earning both his Red Seal Certificate and Master Electrical Certification. Leveraging his diverse background and extensive knowledge in lighting controls, Evan has transitioned his focus to developing project designs for high-end home automation systems, with a keen interest in energy management. Continuously seeking ways to enhance the business, he is dedicated to improving the overall customer experience.
Alexandra Whittaker
- Office Manager
Alexandra brings exceptional value to the Cactus Electrical team, serving as the key Customer Service and Office Manager. Her background encompasses interior design and administrative positions in the construction sector.
Her enthusiasm for interior design, nurtured during her studies at BCIT, and her administrative expertise have seamlessly translated into her role as Office Manager.
Outside of work, Alexandra finds joy in outdoor activities in the beautiful mountains of the North Shore, appreciating the local scenery.

Kaivan, our devoted chief electrician at Cactus Electrical, plays a crucial role in our expanding team with more than ten years of experience. He is known for his diligence and dedication to delivering top-notch work. While at Cactus Electrical, Kaivan earned his Red Seal Certificate and consistently enhances his skills in the field by working with the latest technologies.
Kaivan approaches work with a cheerful demeanour and a deep passion for electrical expertise. In his leisure time, he enjoys assisting friends and cherishing moments with his family.
